The coach of Aris, Sharon Drucker, some minutes after his arrival in Thessaloniki, talked about his feelings and his permanent establishment in our town. The Israeli coach in his first statements said: “I am very happy to come in Thessaloniki. I am looking forward to start working.I have two days before the practices start. In these days I will have the opportunity to discuss with my colleagues and with the President of the team. On Tuesday we will begin the practices with the players that we have already.Certainly we haven’t completed the transfers of the players and we have to work hard to complete them”.
Regarding the stay of Nikos Chatzivrettas, the coach of “yellows” stated: “I talked with Nikos after the confirmation of his stay in our team. We decided together to continue our collaboration and the next year. He is an experienced.He would help the team to achieve its goals.
In terms of the cooperation with the other four players, Pierre Pierce, Dejan Borovjak, Christos Tapoutos and Bryant Dunston the coach said: “what I am expecting from them is to show their talent and help the team the way that everyone can. We would like to create a good and proper team”.
Asked about the next transfers coach said: " we will give more emphasis on Greek players and then to the communities and to the Americans”.
Finally, Sharon Drucker made a comment about his assistant coach, Matan Harush: “he was my first choice when I started to think about my assistant. He is a young coach, very talented and I'm sure he will help our team.
