Dragan Labovic arrived at Thessaloniki on Saturday night (02/01) and expressed his happiness for becoming a member of Aris. The 22-year-old Serb named his new club as “legendary”, in his first comments, just after his arrival at “Makedonia” airport.

“I’m very happy that I will play in this great Greek club. Aris is a legend in Serbia, too. I will do all I can, in order to help the team and make myself useful. I want to thank the club’s administration, as well as coach mr. Katsikaris, for having chosen me and for giving me this great opportunity”, Labovic said. He also described himself as “a player who can be good at three-point shots and at assists, too, like a play-maker! These are two things which I can do, despite being a tall guy”.

He also commented on the arrival of his compatriot, Ivan Paunic: “He is a good player, a very fast one. I think it will be good for me to have another Serb here with me. It will help both of us adapt faster in our new club”.
